ABOUT IDSL
IDSL Supplies was founded in 2001 by Ian Duncan and Daniel Line.
Having years of experience working in the industry with various Electrical Wholesalers they decided they would create their own business as they felt they could provide a better service than their current respective employers – putting a more personalised service and their never say no attitude towards customers as a core principle for IDSL.
IDSL’s growth over the years has been down to attracting customers through competitive pricing and a large range of quality stock and more importantly keeping customers by providing excellent customer service.
We have been supplying some of our customers for over 10 years! The long lasting business relationships we have created are testament to the service we provide.

IDSL Supplies are proud to have joined buying group FEGIME, formerly known as the AED (Associated electrical distributors) in August 2017.
FEGIME was established in 1968 and is the longest established buying group in the UK, comprised of over 30 members.
Our membership with FEGIME means we have increased purchasing power to rival the nationals, a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise shared between FEGIME members and assurances to our customers they are dealing with a professional Electrical Wholesaler.
Meaning we can pass on our competitive prices on to our customers whilst still being able to provide the personalised service our customers have come to expect from IDSL Supplies.
IDSL Supplies are members of the (EDA) Electrical Distributors Association.
The (EDA) protects the interest of Electrical Wholesale Distributors in the UK. As of June 2018, there are 241 members and 75 ‘affiliated members’ which comprise mainly of leading manufacturers.
Membership with the (EDA) offers publicity and representation in Europe, Industry links and access to training and apprenticeships.
In our continuing efforts to ensure we provide the best service possible to all our customers, We put members of our staff through training, the latest of which being the brand new 2018 EDA Product Knowledge Modules
